Hard Time (not to retaliate)

Truthfully, I am having hard time finishing this book.

Especially after what has happened to me.

I ain’t no Dewi Kwan Im yang bisa duduk manis diatas bunga teratai penuh kedamaian, letting go those cruelties that has happened outside her lotus pond – Gusti nu agung!

Managed to reach the last page though, cuma ya gitu kayak otak sama hati tuh pada beradu gitu dah.

This book has Martin Luther King Jr., Gandhi, Buddha, and what have you – dictates that there are so many ways to go beyond retaliation. How would you overcoming your payback mind. How you supposed acknowledge and feel the pain; not blaming and judge other but simply report the pain and show the wound; try reconcile with the person offended us for dialogue to work things out; and finally include them in our loving kindness practice by simply send goodwill, compassion, and wishes for their enlightenment – may good things happen for you.

Bloody freakin’ hell!

I have thousand reasons to retaliate if I may – but I remain silent.
I have more than enough evidences to humiliate if I want – but I buried it.
I want to scream on top of my lung, throw that half-empty cup of black coffee, slap you hard on that little sunny afternoon – but I did not.

Why?

Because I know my worth, I choose to let go, and LET GOD.
